I live a life shaped by place, time, and the spaces we return to every day.
My home in the Hudson Valley has been my anchor for nearly three decades. It’s where I raised my family, learned the rhythms of the seasons, and grew into a slower, more sustainable way of living. Living within the same walls for so many years has taught me patience and perspective. Rooms change as life changes, but the feeling of home remains.
The Cape holds a different kind of meaning. It’s where time stretches and softens. Salty air, early mornings, long afternoons, outdoor showers, and evenings gathered around a fire. Moving between these two places has shaped how I see home, hospitality, and the importance of living in rhythm with the seasons.
Long before my work had a name, I was hosting, gardening, and creating spaces that felt welcoming and personal.
I learned to garden by watching my mother, whose planters always felt effortless and alive. Friends came to me for advice on cooking, paint colors, furniture placement, and how to make a home feel good to be in. Putting things together has always felt instinctual.
My years working in events deepened that understanding. Events have taught me that people simply want to feel seen, relaxed, and surrounded by those they love. While much of the work happens behind the scenes, what stays with me are the emotions and the moments that become lifelong memories. It’s work rooted as much in heart as it is in experience.
I believe in using the good things every day, not saving them for rare occasions. Objects gathered over time are meant to be lived with, layered, and enjoyed, creating spaces that feel personal, generous, and true.
